Class 8 exams from April 2: SCERT

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir State Council of Educational and Research (JK-SCERT) has announced new dates for the Middle Standard Examination (Summative Assessment) for Class 8th Academic Session 2023-2024 in both the soft zones and hard zones areas of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
The examination for the soft zones areas in Jammu and Kashmir will commence from April 2, 2024, and will continue until April 15, 2024.
On the other hand, the examinations in the hard zone areas will also begin from April 2, 2024, and will conclude on April 15, 2024.
Previously, on March 24 of this month, JK-SCERT had postponed the Middle Standard Examination (Summative Assessment) for Class 8th Academic Session 2023-2024 in both the soft zones and hard zones areas of the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory. The examinations were initially scheduled to take place on March 24th, 26th, and 29th, 2024.
However, the examination timing has been rescheduled to start at 10.00 AM instead of 11.00 AM for the Middle Standard Examination 2023-24.
The students are advised to appear for their examinations at the designated examination centers on the aforementioned dates and ensure they arrive on time.
