EPFO conducts ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’ awareness program in Jammu, Ladakh

Stakeholders educated on EPFO schemes & initiatives; grievances resolved on spot

Jammu, Mar 27: The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) Jammu Office on Wednesday conducted an awareness program titled "Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0" aimed at educating stakeholders about various schemes and initiatives. The event was attended by the Rizwan Uddin, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, along with other EPFO officials including Devinder Singh, Enforcement Officer, Pranav Gupta, Assistant Section Officer, and Shamsher Singh, Senior SSA. 
Welcoming the EPFO officials, Dr Savi Behlin, Principal of Government Degree College Women Kathua, commended the organization for its efforts under the leadership of Rizwan Uddin in providing services to registered employees and conducting seminars to educate stakeholders about schemes like The Employees Provident Funds Scheme, The Employees’ Pension Scheme, and The Employees Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme. 
During the program, Rizwan Uddin briefed the stakeholders about various initiatives under Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, including E-Nomination, UAN Activation, KYC Updation, and online services like ECR Filling. He highlighted the benefits of schemes such as the Employees' Pension Scheme and the Employees Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme. 
The workshop facilitated discussions where attendees raised issues related to EPFO, and Rizwan Uddin promptly provided directions to resolve them. The interactive session lasted for over an hour, during which stakeholders were guided on how to address their concerns effectively. 
Notable instances include the resolution of Form 13 transfer claim raised by Ramsaran Goswami and the rectification of contribution deposition issues highlighted by Vishal Jagotra. These cases were addressed on the spot by the dedicated team of EPFO, showcasing their commitment to efficient grievance resolution. 
The Nidhi Aapke Nikat program 2.0 was organised in collaboration with the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), with Sheena Sharma, SSO, ESIC, also addressing the program alongside the Regional PF Commissioner. 
The program shed light on the services and benefits of social security schemes provided to employees of the Union territories of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh since November 2019. Dignitaries like Romika Bassin, Nodal Officer, GDC (W), Kathua, Praveen Tyagi, DGM, Chenab Textile Mills, Kathua, and Satpal Mansotra, General Secretary, J&K Private School Association, were present, further enhancing the event's significance. 
The Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 program for March 2024 was held not only at Government Degree College Women Kathua, Jammu, but also at the EPFO Office in Ladakh, ensuring broader outreach and engagement with representatives from various establishments and employees. These initiatives reflect EPFO's commitment to enhancing awareness and ensuring the effective implementation of social security schemes for the benefit of all stakeholders.
