Joint Army-Police efforts to wipe out terrorism in J&K: Lt Gen Sachdeva

Commends DGP Swain for forward-thinking approach in counter-terror training

JAMMU, Mar 27: Commander of White Knight Corps, Lt Gen NavinSachdeva, highlighted the collaborative efforts of the Army and Police in combatting terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir during his visit to the White Knight Corps Battle School at Bhalra in Doda, Jammu region.
Lt Gen Sachdeva commended Director General of Police (DGP) RR Swain for his cooperation in training police officers for counter-terror operations at the Battle School. 
A total of 989 Police Sub Inspector trainees and 62 DSP probationers from the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) are currently undergoing rigorous counter-terror training at the Battle School.
Maj Gen UpkarChander, GOC Delta Force, also attended the occasion. Lt Gen Sachdeva praised DGP RR Swain for his leadership and foresight in initiating joint training of police officers at the Elite White Knight Corps Battle School.
During the visit, Lt Gen Sachdeva reviewed the training and interacted with the trainees, applauding their commitment and enthusiasm. He urged them to continue striving for professional excellence.
Additionally, he commended the White Knight Corps Battle School for their professionalism and dedication in designing a tailored training program for police trainees. Lt Gen Sachdeva emphasized that the joint training initiative between the Army and J&K Police reflects increased synergy and hahcollaboration between the two organizations.
The joint efforts of the Army and Police aim to eradicate terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir, fostering a safer and more secure environment in the region.
