Borderless World Foundation – Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh (BWF-JKL); an Organization working for the welfare of female Orphan Children in Kupwara, Anantnag and Budgam, conducted a free medical camp today on 18th May 2016 at SDH Chanapora wherein more than 300 patients received free medical treatment. A team of 5 specialist doctors working in various leading hospitals of Nasik, Maharashtra have arrived in the Valley for conducting medical camps for the sake of common people. The team has already conducted two medical camps in SDH Kupwara and DH Pulwama on 14th and 15th May 2016 respectively, wherein it has reached to more than 500 patients. Today’s medical camp was the last camp in the first phase and more camps will be conducted in the coming months.
Borderless World Foundation will conduct more such camps in the coming months and the Organization will bring more specialized doctors for the same. These medical camps are being coordinated by Mr. Haris Abrar Kashmiri Senior Program Officer/ Administrator Borderless World Foundation. One of the major works of Borderless World Foundation in the field of Health Care have been the four Cardiac and Trauma Care Ambulances that were donated by the same Organization to the State Government on 21st September 2015 which were launched by the former Chief Minister of the State Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. The said Ambulances have been stationed at four different locations of the State and are under the administrative control of Directorate of Health Services Kashmir.
