COVID-19:11 more deaths, 551 cases in JK

 Eleven more COVID-19 patients died during the past 24 hours, taking the number of casualties in J&K to 1466 while Thursday witnessed 551 fresh cases, pushing the total number of cases to 93,764, officials said.
As per the government, the fresh casualties include seven from Kashmir division and four from Jammu division.
With the fresh casualties, the death toll due to novel coronavirus has soared to 1466 in Jammu Kashmir, which include 975 from Kashmir and 491 from Jammu.
So far, Srinagar has reported 352 deaths, Baramulla 144, Budgam 94, Pulwama 80, Anantnag 74, Kupwara 72, Kulgam and Bandipora 46 each, Shopian 35, and Ganderbal 32.
In Jammu division, Jammu district has reported 254 deaths, Rajouri 47, Doda 45, Udhampur 32, Kathua 31, Samba 25, Poonch 22, Kishtwar 14, Ramban 13, and Reasi eight.
On Thursday, J&K reported 551 fresh coronavirus cases, which include 354 from Kashmir and 197 from Jammu division, pushing the total infection tally to 93,764.
The government said of the total 22,61,736 test results available, 21,67,972 returned negative and 93,764 positive which include 6928 active positive cases while 85,370 have recovered and been discharged including the 588 persons discharged during the past 24 hours.
It said, so far, 65,42,80 persons had been put under observation including 16,591 in home quarantine and 6928 in isolation while 45,229 people are under home surveillance and 58,40,66 persons have completed their surveillance period.
In Kashmir, Srinagar has a total of 19,104 cases, Budgam 5948, Baramulla 5880, Pulwama 4628, Kupwara 4394, Anantnag 4212, Bandipora 4017, Ganderbal 3505, Kulgam 2479, and Shopian 2188.
In Jammu division, Jammu district has a total of 17,349 cases, Rajouri 3185, Udhampur 2660, Doda 2640, Kathua 2425, Poonch 2239, Samba 2162, Kishtwar 1890,
Ramban 1583, and Reasi 1266.
