Srinagar, Feb 9: Family members of parliament attack convict Muhammad Afzal Guru who was hanged Saturday morning demanded from Government of India to hand over Guru’s body to them for burial. They said they came to know about Guru’s hanging through media in the morning.
“Government of India is telling lies that they had informed us about it (hanging). We came to know about it through media.,” said Guru’s cousin Yaseen.
He said they know his brother became victim of vote bank politics. “It is our right that we should be handed over his body for performing his funeral,” Yaseen said.
