1 arrested, 3 absconding

Jammu, Dec 29: Police today claimed to have arrested an alleged rape accused who along with two other accomplices allegedly outraged the modesty of a widow in Mendar teshil of Poonch district.
Police, quoting complain of the victim, said they have arrested one accused namely Mohammad Tariq of Kalaban and lodged a massive manhunt to arrest absconding accused persons.
Police said that the woman was gang raped by three persons when she was returning back home at Kalaban from Mendar.
