J&K’s Higher Reaches to Witness Snow, Rain today; Temps to Rise from March 21 : MeT
Srinagar, March 20: Jammu and Kashmir is expecting a mix of rain and snow over the next few days, with the Met Centre Srinagar forecasting partly cloudy skies and light rain,snow at higher reaches on March 20, followed by improvement.
The region will remain generally dry until March 23, when brief spells of rain, snow are expected. Another spell of rain,snow is likely from March 29-31.
Day temperatures are set to rise from March 21 onwards, but according to the MeT, there is also a possibility of thunder, gusty winds, and hailstorms at isolated places . Farmers can resume operations from March 21.
